Welcome Postdocs!

On behalf of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, I want to welcome you to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! The mission of our office is to enhance, support, and promote postdoctoral training here at UNC and to help prepare postdoctoral scholars for successful careers. In recognition of the efforts of our office and the University’s support of the postdoc population, UNC was voted as the 2005 Best Place to Work for Postdocs among US academic institutions, according to The Scientist magazine’s annual survey of postdoctoral scholars. It is my expectation that you will take advantage of the many opportunities and resources available here at Carolina while making your own contributions to the University’s mission of teaching, research, and public service.
